EOL services operates as a concierge death service – meaning that once you pass away, we work with the people you want us to work with in doing the work required:
Initial Engagement
- to perform all the notifications of your passing,
- assist with your funeral arrangements,
- assist with achieving probate,
- assist with defending against any contesting of the Will,
- assist your executor in administering your Will
- assist in liquidating of stocks, shares, bonds, other financial securities, or company interests
- transferring property titles, company shares
- selling off the estates unwanted chattels
- making records of all valuables to be presented to the executor upon passing
- checking current and old insurance policies for any attached applicable death insurance
- If there is a surviving spouse, we will be there to help them get through their grief and help them readjust to life without you.
We also assist while you are living (see below)...
We start by having a free initial meeting to discuss your specific situation and needs. You are under no obligation to continue after this initial meeting. From that meeting we will put together a schedule and an idea of the specific cost for the services you would want from us.
After seeing the breakdown schedule and cost you can decide if you want to continue with EOL Services. You will always be able to discontinue our service, at any stage, by simply sending us an email or letter notifying us that you wish to discontinue the service. EOL Services would then forward you the balance of the trust account.
If you want to use EOL Services, you simply pay for a Single or Couple Service. That money is put into trust – this is the only payment that will be required. Any further payment will be taken from the estate of the deceased. No other money is required whilst the client is alive.
Once a client, you can utilise our service at any time to assist with any issue you feel we may be of assistance ie dealing with NBN, Centrelink, Hospitals advocacy, Retirement Village Management and so on.... The only amount you pay is the initial upfront fee, all additional charges will accrue against the estate (upon your initial approval).
If you own a property and want to leave it to your son, you might bequeath it to them in your Will.
In administering your Will, your executor would need to know how to transfer that property into your son’s name. To avoid having to pay stamp duty on the property your executor would also need to know how to put in an application to have stamp duty offset for the transfer.
In handling the transfer, EOL Services would fill in all documents, put these documents into the folder listing all additional documents that need to be included (like the death certificate), include an envelope of where it needs to be sent, and when it needs to be sent.
Everything will be ready for the executor to review and send. Not having to do anything themselves. Leaving time for family and friends to grieve rather than stress over how to do these things.
Once engaged, EOL Services will start putting together all these documents that are needed once you pass. All these documents will be filled out and put into a physical folder ready to be sent out to various places after you have passed. This process will be overseen and approved by your Executor. It means you executor won’t have to do all these things themselves, everything will be set up ready for them once you pass.
